Christ Church, Port Sunlight

Our Mission Statement: To offer our best to God through Worship, Fellowship and Care for the Community

Visiting Us

The Church is now open to visitors between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on weekdays. Christ Church Stewards will on duty during opening times to assist and advise when called upon.

Please note the church will not be open to general visitors during any funeral service or wedding (we do have quite a number held on weekdays). You can check to see if the are any such services taking place at the time of your planned visit by looking at the Church Calendar (see menu). Funerals will necessarily appear on the calendar at very short notice.

For your further information…

  • We have a wheelchair ramp at the main entrance.
  • There are two toilets inside the church one being suitable for the disabled (and also includes baby changing facilities).
  • Free on-street parking space in front of the church is more than adequate, even for coaches.
  • Port Sunlight Station (Merseyrail) is within easy walking distance from the church. Use Bebington Station if you are visiting the Lady Lever Art Gallery first.
  • Memorabilia and souvenirs are available for self-purchase using the honesty box alongside.
  • Visitors on the Monday bank holidays may wish to avail themselves of the Cornish Cream Teas provided within the church. Otherwise the Art Gallery and Port Sunlight Garden Centre (see below) both offer refreshment facilities.
