The Choir

Christ Church has a small, robed choir who sing at almost all Sunday morning services and play a larger part in important festivals such as Easter, Christmas, Remembrance and Harvest. They are also in demand to sing at weddings and occasionally funerals. As well as leading the congregational hymns, the choir normally sings a short anthem, motet or psalm each week.

Under the direction of Choir master Jonathan Bowden (pictured) the choir practices are held every Thursday in the Choir Vestry at 6:30 p.m. The Choir is always keen to welcome vew singers – Sopranos, Altos, Tenors and Basses alike.
